I hadn't done any exercise since my tummy troubles of a few weeks back so this morning I went for a run around Edinborough Gardens which is only a couple of blocks away from Amanda's place.
For the past couple of weeks, whilst driving, I've had this melody in my head. I'm not sure whether I've picked it up from one of the folk gatherings I've been to or whether it is just something I've made up. So I decided to record it as evidence of my first piece of songwriting since hitting the road. I contemplated trying to put lyrics and vocals to it but decided against it. For the moment (and possibly forever) it will be an instrumental.
